A limited edition sauce combing fermented honey garlic with peppers from our bumper crop of Orange Habanero peppers, to create a sweet floral pepper sauce, prepared in our home kitchen. For this sauce, we recommend to use it as a wing sauce, throw this into a pan with some butter and then smother onto crispy chicken wings!
After starting our last two limited-edition sauces fermenting, we still had around 1 kg of homegrown orange habanero peppers ripening. We didn’t want a whole year’s worth of care for our chili plants to go to waste, and we were also interested in exploring a line of hot garlic honey. This felt like the perfect opportunity to craft a truly sweet and spicy sauce that could be used for more than just dipping.
You’ll notice the ingredients list for this sauce is relatively short—this was intentional. We wanted to make use of what we had on hand and avoid overextending our production capacity. We’re very excited to see how this experiment turns out, as we hope to incorporate fermented honey garlic into a future, evergreen Honey Original sauce.
